Best Practices for Administrators
When configuring recertification features, the following points should be considered:

Define the scope of the recertification as granular as possible to achieve the required result. This will help reduce unnecessary load on the system.

Identify the approval flow that meets the business needs prior to starting the configuration.

When using out-of-the-box approval flows and approval steps, considered that they might be used in configuration of notification polices and/or escalation policies. If they are modified specifically for the recertification, other functionalities might be impacted. If there is specific configuration needed, consider creating custom approval flow and approval flow step dedicated for recertification or even specific recertification policy types.

Review existing notification policies enabled in the system to see whether recertification tasks would fall into the scope of any of them. This will help to reduce the volume of undesirable notifications that are being sent out.

Make sure approvers have access to MyTasks and can act upon the assigned tasks.

Avoid triggering compilation of multiple audits at the same time to achieve the best performance. Instead, stagger them – enable audits one by one after completion of compilation of the previous one or adjust schedule on audit template to run on specific time of the day.

If Notifications are sent through Business Request Notification engine, users might receive multiple emails at the same time, often 1 email per assignment. To reduce volume of e-mail, opt for configuration of Notification Report Subscriptions (a.k.a. Daily Digest) instead and making
